Organization of the Islamic Conference Secretary declared that they support Kosovo's independence.

Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu announced Monday that they support Kosovo's decision for independence.

According to a written press release by the OIC, "Kosovo declared independence after many years of making efforts for its people. We join in this happy result. We renew our support to our brothers and sisters there. The Islamic world will extend all support to the newly founded Kosovo. We have no doubt that an independent Kosovo will add important value to the Muslim world."
