TUSIAD to hold conference in China

Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TUSIAD) will hold a conference in the Chinese city of Shanghai on Thursday.

A leading Turkish business association will hold a conference in the Chinese city of Shanghai on Thursday.

The seminar will be jointly organized by Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TUSIAD) International and China's Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai (CPIT), TUSIAD said in a written statement on Wednesday.

The opening speeches of the conference will be delivered by TUSIAD International's Executive Board member Aykut Eken, Turkish consul general in Shanghai Murat Ulku and Wang Lie from CPIT Shanghai.

During the conference, Turkey's investment potential will be introduced to Chinese entrepreneurs.

TUSIAD International was founded by the decision of TUSIAD Board in 2001, with the aim of serving to the country and contributing to Turkish companies' success in the international arena.

Being the "Strategic Business Development" unit of TUSIAD, TUSIAD International develops projects aiming to make the Turkish private sector more active in its relations with the private sectors of other countries, contribute to the development of national economic policies, as well as to improve international bilateral economic relations.
