A man was murdered in the middle of town. Claiming he was owed money, Recai Kazanci began shooting at Erol Karagozoglu, hitting five times in the back and in his feet as he said; "I am not going to kill you quickly."

A horrific murder took place yesterday afternoon in the center of town in Kastamonu.

Temporary worker Recai Kazanci, his brother and unemployed Erol Karagozoglu were drinking in a car when they began to argue.

 When they got out of the car Recai Kazanci claimed Erol Karagozoglu owed him money. When the fight escalated he took out his gun and began shooting.

As Karagozoglu begged for someone to call an ambulance, Recai circled him, holding a gun to his head and said; "I am not going to kill you quickly." The wounded man began screaming for help and begged the people nearby to call an ambulance and to give him some water.

Eventually help came, however Erol Karagozoglu, who was taken into surgery, died in the middle of the night.

 The shooting, which took place at approximately 17:00 on Deveciler- Safalan street in Kastamonu, was a scene of horror as Recai Kazanci, circling the dying man as he held a gun to his head, said; "I'm not going to kill you quickly."
