US dollar has fallen from 19-month high against Turkish lira.

The US dollar lost ground after hitting a 19-month high of 1.4539 against the Turkish lira at 12:45 am ET Friday.

The dollar-lira pair is currently trading at 1.4268, compared to Thursday's closing value of 1.4365.

 A report released by the Turkish Statistical Institute or Turkstat said the rate of capacity utilization rose to 79.8% in September from 76.2% in August.

Analysts expected the rate to be 78.6%.
